A look at Ballston Spa

In December of 2007, I started working one day a week at the National Bottle Museum in Ballston Spa, NY. I lived near Ballston Spa over 20 years ago and I was surprised to see how much it has changed. A nice (and less expensive) change from Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa has its own springs - the Old Iron spring which is pictured her and the SanSouci spring, also on Front Street.

In the pictures you will also see a small yellow house which is the birthplace of Abner Doubleday - whom all of you baseball fans will know *wink*. What you MAY not know is he was also a Civil War hero from the Battle of Gettysburg. Pretty good for a small town, no?

At the beginning are a couple of pictures from Coffee Planet, a great place to grab a cup of coffee, tea or something to eat. The owner was gracious enough to allow me to take pictures inside his great shop. Enjoy the pictures.
