A Weekend at Corazon

Last weekend I got away for a retreat in a hermitage at Corazon at Villa St. Dominic

It seemed odd to head SOUTH instead of north for retreat but I was so happy I went. The Dominican Sisters of Sparkill operate the retreat center and hermitages and the grounds are just superb. Peaceful walking trails, waterfalls and woods, and a splendid view of the Hudson River make it an excellent place for retreat. I especially enjoyed watching the boats and barges travel the river and was awed by some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Up by St. Joseph's Villa there was a labyrinth, another waterfall and a beautiful and large grotto of our Lady of Lourdes. Enjoy a quick tour of another slice of heaven!
