A Trip to Lock 7


Last Sunday night, while I was still on retreat I took a couple of hours to visit Lock 7 - a working part of our canal system on the Mohawk River. Although the locks are not officially open yet (but soon) there was plenty to see, and even a state boat in the lock itself.

Lock 7 has a rise of 27 feet - in one or two of the pictures you can see the falls in the river itself. If you haven't see something like this it is a sight to see. Enjoy!
