A Visit to New Skete
Last week I had the privilege of visiting and photographing the monasteries (outside) and temples of New Skete. I am grateful to the monk who was tending the main Holy Wisdom Temple for letting me take my pictures of this beautiful place. After spending a little bit of time in Holy Wisdom and Holy Transfiguration Temple, it was over to the Nuns of New Skete, located a few miles away, to pick up cheesecakes and fruitcake.

I could have easily spent so much more time in the sacred surroundings, even the location is breathtaking. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. All were using ambient light and a tripod, to avoid the harshness of flash.
