The Garden Lady

Garden Tour 2005
The annual Gardens and Gazebos Tour, sponsored by the Soroptimists International of Schenectady County was held yesterday, June 18, 2005. If you've been reading the diary, you know that this gardenlady's garden was one of the ones on the tour.

I did not get a chance to see all of the other gardens, but I did get to 3 of them, and, they are just lovely. Many much larger than mine, but the same love of gardens is the thread that runs through the tour participants.

The first 2 pictures are of the sign in front of my house, and of me (on the right) chatting with a visitor to my garden. The rest are 3 other gardens, and only a few shots, as we were all busy with last minute prep. for the big day. Despite drizzle and intermittant rain, we had quite a few hardy visitors and it was a great experience. Picture page of my own garden was previously posted here.
