Artifacts Country Store

Artifacts Country Shop Mary Frances and I set out the other day to find a shop she had picked up a flyer for. The name of the shop is Artifacts, and it is located in Melrose, NY. Owners Beth and Paul were more than gracious, answering questions, putting up with us and our cameras, and filling us in on upcoming events such as entertainment in the warmer weather and incoming merchandise. The place is fabulous, has been there for 27 years, and is kind to the pocketbook. Beth herself is an accomplished stained glass craftsperson, and Paul works in wood. They carry a wide array of gift items, and as advertised, is "off the beaten path" but worth the trip. Unfortunately no web page yet to direct you to, but you can find them in the book.
