A Valentine's Day to Remember
It was only a matter of time - we were overdue for snow here in the Great Northeast.
However, Old Man Winter really outdid himself. On Feb. 13, at about 11 PM the first flakes started
falling in what escalated from a heavy snow warning to a blizzard. Valentine's Day morning we had about
3 inches of snow on the ground, all the rest fell during the day itself ending around 8 or 9 last night.
What that means is, all the snow that you see especially in the last few pictures taken today, fell in one day.
Up to now, we had only a light coating. It messed up a lot of people's plans, luckily I was planning dinner at
home anyway. Right now, the wind is howling and BOY is it cold! Welcome to Winter!
