Sometimes, a small project turns into a big project. We had built a deck (more like a wood patio) out back about 22 or 23 years ago. The wood was kind of tired, the yews had overgrown and what started out as a quick resurface became a whole new deck project. I cant take much credit for this job... hubby's skills he picked up working for Habitat for Humanity came in very handy and he took my ideas and turned them into a reality. The deck itself extends 4 more feet into the yard which gives us more useful area. Now all I need to do is stain the rails and landscape the area. The flooring is that new composition plank. Expensive but it will last longer than we will. I think I might like to get a small table with an umbrella too. Enjoy the before and after pictures.
