Looking Glass Pond
It is always a delight to discover a new pond or presesrve. On Sunday one of my friends Kathy asked if I
would like to go along on a trip into Schoharie County - there was a wonderful pond there in a state forest. So, armed with my
camera I went along. This pond is stocked for fishermen by a local Rod and Gun Club and the diversity of
plant life makes it a wonderful spot for any naturalist. Below are some of the highlights both at the pond and
along the road.
