Memorial Day Parade 2007
Our little village held its not-so-little Memorial Day parade on Wednesday night.
What I love about this parade is so many groups get involved, from children to seniors,
military to the pro-peace groups, high school bands to dogs in hula skirts, everyone gets
involved. And the people turn out, lining the whole parade route. The pictures are a little
bit blurred, I took most while I was walking in the parade, and still have the cast on. But
I think they will do! A special thanks also to those who worked that night, I have a shot of
a great young man and woman who worked at one of the convenience stores.
To all those who gave their lives protecting us, and for those who serve today,
thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
