Habitat's "Extreme Makeover"

On the day that "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" aired its program featuring the house in Colonie, Habitat for Humanity dedicated a rehab house to a local family.

While it may not have had the hype and fanfare of the popular TV show, it was no less important. The new homeowners pitched in on the makeover of this house and all the volunteers (including my hubby)are true local and unsung heroes. Below are a couple of before and after shots, plus the donor family and recipient family. Thanks to all of them!
