Walk through the Stockade
In a little over a week, I will check out the Stockade Secret Garden Tour located in Schenectyady's beautiful and historic Stockade area, naturally. This is an old area, with many homes being built in the 1700's and 1800's. It's a lovely place to visit, and a lively section to live in. The homes are maintained following strict guidelines to preserve their history. No vinyl siding in sight!

Gardens hide behind gates, flowerpots are on steps and sidewalks, it's just such a lovely area. And home to the Village Art Show, the Annual Tree Lighting ceremony at Lawrence the Indian, and lunch outdoors at Arthur's Market. Come on and take a quick walking tour of a small part, through Union Street, N. Ferry Street, Green Street and more...
